　　Last at the Festival with 2017’s rural noir Dark River, a selection in the Platform programme, writer-director Clio Barnard returns to the Bradford, West Yorkshire setting of her earlier films for this tumultuous, fiercely affecting midlife love story.
　　A bundle of good humour and nervous energy, Ali (Adeel Akhtar) is a British Pakistani working-class landlord who forges close bonds with his tenants. One day, while picking up one of his tenants’ children from school, he offers a lift to Ava (Claire Rushbrook), an Irish-born teacher and single mother of five. They bond almost instantly through their love of music, though Ali favours the high energy of Buzzcocks and hip-hop while Ava takes refuge in the quieter comforts of Bob Dylan and Karen Dalton. Despite their divergent backgrounds, differences in their stages of life, and the colour of their skin, despite the fact of Ali’s failing marriage and Ava’s fraught relationship with her adult and adolescent children, each finds themself irresistibly drawn to the other. But can their mutual desire transcend a barrage of personal obstacles?
　　Inspired by people Barnard encountered while making her acclaimed features The Arbor and The Selfish Giant, Ali Ava is a film that feels profoundly rooted in lived experience, blending a tender emotional complexity with an at times bracing depiction of trauma and grief. Akhtar and Rushbrook’s finely hued performances speak to the setting’s cultural diversity and tribal loyalties while yielding a vulnerability that’s alternately heart-wrenching and joyous. Their story serves as a reminder that it is sometimes the least likely connections that are the ones most worth pursuing.

香港当红舞男Jackie（张学友 饰）与扫黄组组长David（林俊贤 饰）结怨很深。David多次派人扫Jackie的场子都遭失败，怀恨在心。扫黄组新调来的小珍（张曼玉 饰）能力超群，将鸭店一网打尽，连Jackie的店也难以幸免。Jackie为了替兄弟们出口气，决定扮作患有绝症的画家去接近小珍，找机会报复，谁料……

日向葵海（miwa 饰）和长谷川陆（坂口健太郎 饰）是青梅竹马的好友，两人同朋友松田直哉（龙星凉 饰）和中村铁太（泉泽佑希 饰）一起组建了一支乐队。直哉一直默默喜欢着葵海，他决定在夏日祭上表白自己的心意。然而，葵海的目光却一直追随着冷傲孤僻的陆，在他的温柔和冷漠之中，葵海无法确定自己在他的心中究竟存在于怎样的位置。 　　夏日祭当天，乐队登台演出，心不在焉的葵海在搞砸了整场演出之后死于交通意外。然而当她再度睁开双眼，发现自己竟然回到了一周之前，这不可思议的经历让她发现了陆一直隐藏着的秘密，也令两人之间的关系有了突飞猛进的发展。然而，无论怎样努力，葵海终究会在夏日祭那天傍晚死去，为了将心爱的人留在身边，陆一遍又一遍的穿越着时空。

影片围绕王大宇、卢琪琪、陆海洋、江美图四个年轻人在社会飞速发展的进程中面临事业、爱情的思考与选择。王大宇与卢琪琪是大学同学，彼此正处热恋之中，卢琪琪沉稳务实，而王大宇在创业遇挫时仍充满激情。与此同时，富家女江美图出现,对王大宇一见钟情展开追求，虽然王大宇面对江美图情感不为所动,仍然不可避兔地让卢琪琪产生误会,而陆海洋的出现,，把四人关系推向复杂....-

哈扎里是个贪得无厌的老头子，为了能够不劳而获，他伪装成为了有钱人攀上了亿万富翁梅拉先生。哈扎里希望梅拉先生能够将他的女儿玛都（玛杜丽·迪克西特 Madhuri Dixit 饰）嫁给自己的儿子亚加（阿米尔·汗 Aamir Khan 饰），然而玛都和亚加的个性都十分的刚烈，两人不仅没有看上对方，还成了一对见面就吵架的冤家。 　　在经历了一番波折之后，亚加和玛都终于双双坠入了情网，可就在他们准备携手步入婚姻殿堂的节骨眼上，梅拉识破了哈扎里的谎言，想要取消这门婚事。在双方孩子的坚持下，婚礼还是如期举行了，但是为了成全彼此的爱情，两个年轻人都付出了惨重的代价。

　　陆志摩服务警界十年，办事鲁莽，每次都由女上司黄雪笙化险为夷，其后他发现黄鲜为人知的同性恋秘密，但他不仅为她紧守秘密，甚至成为她的爱情军师。这对工作上的冤家拍挡，竟同时发展为感情知己……

　　马里奥（阿莱西奥•博尼 Alessio Boni 饰）和尼古拉（卢伊吉洛•肖卡 Luigi Lo Cascio 饰）是亲密无间的两兄弟，但是酷爱诗歌的马里奥却在考试中因为与教授意见相左而不及格，相反尼古拉投其所好的表现赢得了医学教授的好评拿到了高分。他们几个朋友相约去毕 业旅行，但是马里奥却带来了另外一个不速之客——他从精神病院搭救出来受伤的女孩佐珍（杰丝敏•特丽卡 Jasmine Trinca 饰）。于是，兄弟俩决定陪她寻找亲人。在一片革命洪流之中，马里奥弃笔从戎，选择做警察，而尼古拉则漂泊异乡成为了精神科医生。佛罗伦萨的大水，让兄弟俩重逢，此时尼古拉已经和钢琴师朱莉安成为伉俪。而马里奥则对摄影师米雷拉一见钟情。他们的感情同样经受着社会动荡的考验……
　　本片片长6个小时，通过讲述意大利一家人的悲欢离合，反映了意大利从1966年至2000年的社会巨变。

　　Mary, a poor farm girl, meets Tim just as word comes that war has been declared. Tim enlists in the army and goes to the battlefields of Europe, where he is wounded and loses the use of his legs. Home again, Tim is visited by Mary, and they are powerfully attracted to each other but his physical handicap prevents him from declaring his love for her. Deeper complications set in when Martin, Tim's former sergeant and a bully, takes a shine to Mary.

　　A Venetian musician at La Fenice theatre is affected by an incurable disease. By chance he meets his ex-wife who is now living with another man. She finally realizes that she is still in love with him.One of the most romantic films ever made and that still bears the pass of time despite some camera cliches of the 70's. Venice at its best is the setting for a poignant story of lovers parting for ever in a day's time. Sensitive and powerfully emotional, but never corny, with Musante and Bolkan as passional as you may wish lovers can be. A wonderful soundtrack and a beautiful cinematography help to make this film be a delight thirty-two years after it was made. Not to be missed.

　　国内首部以拉丁舞为题材的电影《斗爱》，谱写了一段交织在汗水与泪水间美丽感人的爱情故事。本片入围第十六届大学生电影节“最佳处女作奖”，并获得第十六届北京大学生电影节“最受欢迎男演员奖”提名。
